Opening by the Mayor of Gawler, Karen Redman on Sunday 23rd Feb 2025 from 2pm for one month. Showcasing the three great P’s - Photographs by Sally, Painting’s by Martin and Poetry by Cathy. This will be an art display you don’t want to miss!

“Local photographer, Sally Brock, is no stranger to the thrill associated with the collection, preservation and restoration of old and interesting vehicles, antiques and collectables, and the stories that they tell. Now she is channelling her passion into bringing to life Gawler’s own Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club.

Featuring iconic vehicles of historical significance in motoring history, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Bedford, Chippy’s Gold is a photographic exhibition inspired by the true story of a local farm lad who was fortunate enough to stumble across these gems, in a bygone era when they were a dime a dozen. All they cost him was “time”.

This local farm lad was a “chippy” by trade, and these legends of steel have turned to gold!

Chippy’s Gold provides us with a unique glimpse into a bygone era of vintage and classic vehicles, through the eye of the lens, and the stories that they tell.”
