2026 Fringe Exhibition at the Prince Albert Hotel, Gawler!
Musical Gawler is a Fringe exhibition showcasing the vibrant live music scene found in and around Gawler’s local venues.
Through photography, the exhibition captures moments from live performances by local and touring artists, including Les Sumner, Lily and The Drum, and Inherit Nothing. Each image offers a snapshot of the atmosphere, emotion and raw energy that defines live music - from intimate café performances to high-intensity metal shows!
Featured works include:
A photographic study of iconic local musician Les Sumner, captured at The Bushman Hotel on Australia Day
Lily and The Drum, a bluesy roots, rock and soul duo photographed live at Café Nova
Inherit Nothing, captured during Metal on Murray at the Prince Albert Hotel, an event showcasing local and interstate bands
Presented as part of the Fringe and in collaboration with other local artists, Musical Gawler shines a light on the talent, venues and creative community that make Gawler’s music scene thrive.
The exhibition opens 20 February at the Prince Albert Hotel, Gawler, with an official visit from the Mayor on 22 February.
